New Funding Round of 1 million Euros for Indeex
Indeex (formerly Oliveex), a startup operating in the field of digitization and optimization of industrial processes, was recently added into Uni.Fund’s portfolio.
Indeex, having formed a significant customer base with leading companies such as KLIAFA S.A. of the Hellenic Dairy Group, Ouzo 12 of the CAMPARI Group, the Siris Brewery (Photos Photiades Group), Zythos VAP, Pinio Brewery, and others, has developed an innovative software solution that integrates into existing industrial facilities and transforms them into fully digital systems with zero changes to their equipment.
The company’s Digital Twin platform simplifies the use of AI and cutting-edge technologies in industrial processes, creating digital twins that record every step of the production process, aiming to identify improvement points and provide early diagnosis of faults and issues. This comprehensive recording creates a detailed, tamper-proof traceability mechanism for every production cycle. Energy savings, reduction of delays and downtime, as well as optimal scheduling and resource utilization in production, are just some of the capabilities of Indeex’s Digital Twin platform, which significantly contributes to achieving sustainability goals and reducing environmental footprints.
The first commercial clients have already achieved up to a 22% increase in production capacity within the first few months of use, without the need for new investments in technical equipment, and up to a 40% increase in labor productivity through the digitization and organization of their production processes.
In the company’s second venture capital funding round, amounting to €1,000,000, Uni.Fund led the investment, with the participation of the existing investor, TECS Capital. The funds will be used for further product development, team expansion, and entry into Central European markets, which is already in progress.
Indeex co-founder Konstantinos Akrivos states: “We are particularly pleased to announce this new partnership with Uni.Fund. Their expertise and support come at a crucial time as we focus on scaling our business and expanding our activities into Central Europe. This new collaboration not only provides us with the resources to accelerate our growth but also brings valuable strategic guidance for the effective implementation of our plan.”
Uni.Fund Partner Konstantinos Lafka adds: “We are excited about our investment in Indeex, a company that is essentially active in the digitization of industry by combining data, AI, and a simple/lean approach to implementation and use. Based on the new trends in the global landscape, industrial digitization is the next major step in exponential growth and value creation.”
TECS Capital Partner Antonis Ilias adds: “This is an important day for Indeex, marking the strengthening of its strategic expansion into international markets. We are proud of the company’s progress, the development of its founding team, Dimitris and Konstantinos, and excited to be part of this funding round, collaborating with the Uni.Fund team to jointly support the company’s next steps.”
