EDENCORE Technologies, an Athens-based agricultural technology company focused on specialty crops, today announced it has closed a €0.9 million seed funding round. The investment was led by Uni.Fund VC and included new participation from Loggerhead Ventures, agricultural spraying machine manufacturer AGROMA, and angel investors from Theti Club.
The capital infusion will be strategically deployed to two primary goals: accelerating global expansion through key partnerships in target countries, and delivering significant upgrades to the company’s main product, Viewer. Viewer is currently commercially present in 10+ countries worldwide, covering more than 3,000 hectares of operated land.
Viewer is the farmer’s “Swiss knife” for increasing efficiency in specialty crops. Through advanced image analysis and proprietary AI models, Viewer monitors critical parameters regarding productivity, vigor, and health status for each individual tree. Crucially, this technology is also connected with sprayers, allowing farmers to optimize chemical use and reduce waste by up to 40%.
